Launched in 2016, The Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation India (RMHCFI) seeks to promote and establish care centres, care rooms and care houses for the benefit of families whose children have been going through a medical treatment, both within and outside hospitals and medical centres, free of cost. RMHCFI aims to establish Ronald McDonald Family Rooms (RMFR) across leading Government hospitals. The aim of this facility is to provide families of ailing children a place with comfortable seating area within the hospital and give them resources to get a break from the stressed hospital atmosphere. RMFR intends to provide improved medical environment for the families, emotional support to parents, clean and hygienic play activities for kids and an opportunity of relaxation to all those families whose children are undergoing medical treatment at the hospital.

Currently, we are looking to build a ‘Ronald McDonald House’ in Mumbai to begin with which can accommodate about 100 families. To create and develop this house, we are seeking support from the community.
